What we do

We’re more than just a financial advice firm.

Our specific focus is on helping women find the courage to live the life they want to lead, and the strength to genuinely love their imperfect selves. We do that through a combination of financial coaching, financial planning and independent financial advice.

Alongside the regulated financial advice we provide, our clients benefit from the opportunity to explore their financial behaviours, tackle their limiting beliefs, and move forward with greater confidence about their ability to manage their money and achieve their goals.

Am I going to be ok?

Our clients often come to us with questions such as “do I have enough money to buy my dream home?”, “How will my finances change after my divorce?” and “Should I consolidate my different pension pots?”

But often, sitting behind those questions, are unspoken worries and bigger, more fundamental questions such as:

  • “Am I going to be ok?”
  • “Is my family going to be ok?”
  • “Am I making bad decisions?”
  • “When can I finally live the life I really want to be living?”

Our job is to remove your financial anxiety and facilitate a move towards financial behaviour that is beneficial to you.

Financial coaching and mentoring from a Certified Financial Coach

More than just a financial plan

We have been helping clients build solid, achievable financial plans for over a decade. And in that time, we noticed something.

Clients would often embrace the financial plan we put together and leave our planning meetings full of enthusiasm for the changes they needed to make. But over time, it would become clear that something was stopping them from taking the necessary steps to make progress towards their goals.

What was it? It wasn’t because our clients didn’t want to make the changes. But they seemed “stuck” in past patterns of behaviour and unable to change them.

What we learned was that achieving financial transformations often requires more than just a plan.

Changing your relationship with money

Financial coaching will help you develop a better relationship with your money. It enables you to have deeper and more meaningful conversations about your money which, in turn, allows you to move forward with greater awareness of your limiting beliefs and greater power to challenge them.

The psychology of money

How we feel about and relate to money will be influenced by many different factors: our emotional relationship to money, our parents’ relationship to money, our partner’s relationship to money, how much of it you have, whether it is a cause of stress or conflict in your life, and your relationship with yourself – whether you view yourself as competent enough to make good decisions with your money – to name just a few.

Unsurprisingly, how we feel about and relate to money largely affects how we act with money.

In other words, there is a great deal of psychology tied up in changing financial behaviours. And a change in financial behaviour is often required to see a change in your finances.

Specifically, financial coaching will help you to:

  • Get to the root of your limiting beliefs around money and understand how they have been holding you back.
  • Rebuild your relationship with money.
  • Create powerful shifts in thinking so that you are no longer “stuck” in cycles of unhelpful behaviour.
  • Break bad money habits.
  • Eradicate the fear of making “bad” decisions.
  • Move forward with confidence.
  • Increase your chances of sticking to your plan and achieving your long-term financial goals.
